Bierothek® expands packaging system with sustainable paper tape
We are already more than proud to call ourselves a climate-positive company. Despite all the environmentally friendly measures we already take, we are constantly trying to do more to protect the environment and make our packaging system even more sustainable.
Sealing our recyclable shipping boxes in our central warehouse, which is powered by green electricity, with non-plastic-free adhesive tape has been a thorn in our side for a long time and is therefore an incentive to make this part of our packaging system even more environmentally friendly. In order to optimally ship our beers to you, we have for a long time only used shipping cardboard boxes, which are delivered to us by our suppliers with as little plastic packaging as possible. We also deliberately avoid using plastic films to package the beers in a shatterproof manner. 100% recyclable cardboard compartments make optimal use of the space in each cardboard box and ensure unbreakable shipping to our customers. We then send our packages exclusively with GoGreen via DHL. Since we want to continue to produce as little waste as possible, we are now using 100% plastic-free paper adhesive tape to seal our packages. Our new adhesive tape is not only wonderfully sustainable, but also looks great. Printed with our Bierothek® beer wave and the Bierothek® logo, you can look forward to receiving your package directly from the beer sender. With its very good adhesive strength, the high-quality and ecological paper tape seals every package securely for shipping and also makes a contribution to sustainability. The paper tape can then easily be recycled together with the cardboard.
